Set on a remote island, Hotel Splendide follows the Blanche family’s attempts to maintain a crumbling, dilapidated hotel and health spa following the death of the family matriarch. Chef Ronald Blanche believes that a healthy diet consists of boiling everything within an inch of its life until Kath, Ronald’s former sous-chef and lover, challenges him to a gastronomic competition with her fabulous pasta con sugo alla puttanesca. Mayhem ensues.
